Robotic Puppet

“If you pull the right strings, A puppet will dance any way you desire.” Robots are artificial intelligent machines made to do whatever we wish to. Why not make them do as we want using a traditional approach instead of a technical one. Let’s create a personalized movable jumping jack robotic puppets to play with or Arthur decorate our rooms.



Introduction:


A puppet is a figure that can be moved by a person, usually for a performance of some kind. The figure can be of a person, an animal, an object, or any kind of creature. A robot is a machine that does tasks without the help of a person. So, a robotic puppet together is a puppet looking like a robot which is handled by humans.


Requirements

  • Different Colors of Cardboard

  • Split Pins

  • Black marker

  • Thread and Needle

  • Glue and Scissors




Steps:

  1. To make the robot’s body, cut the cardboard into different shapes and sizes such as squares, triangles, circles

  2. Assemble the shapes to create your kind of robotic puppet

  3. Cut out the limbs of the robot

  4. Attach them to the body using split pins

  5. Thread the backside of the limbs loosely to a string

  6. If you want to hang the puppet, attach a string on the head as a hook as well

  7. Jumping Jack Robotic Puppet is ready!!!
